Educational Approach

  • Content Delivery: This eLearning course is delivered through a series of video modules. In addition to video content, you will have access to over 450 pages of course materials, which include comprehensive explanations, practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
  • Course Duration: The training is self-paced, giving you the flexibility to study at your convenience. With 24/7 access, you can review any part of the course as often as needed. To complete the training, quizzes, and final exam, we recommend allocating at least five days (around 35 hours).
  • Evaluation Process: The PECB Certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor exam assesses seven competency areas and is in line with the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP)* requirements. The exam features 80 multiple-choice questions, and you must score 70% to pass. If you fail on the first attempt, you are able to retake the exam within 12 months at no additional cost. Additional further attempts will incur an additional fee.
  • Certificates: Upon completion of the training, you will receive an Attestation of Course Completion. Additionally, depending on your demonstrated experience, you can apply for one of the Certification credentials through this course, as outlined under the above Certification section.
