Suraj’s role as a Consultant at ISO Certification Experts
At ISO Certification Experts, Suraj helps client organisations develop, implement, and maintain ISO Management Systems for Certification Readiness. He supports clients in achieving ISO certification across key standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 27001 (Information Security), ensuring systems are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
Suraj has led and contributed to a variety of projects across multiple industries, delivering practical solutions to achieve certification readiness and ongoing compliance. For SMEC Australia, he led a project to upgrade the company’s management system for ISO 27001:2022 certification readiness nationwide, enhancing information security practices across all operations.
With experience in projects from industrial and safety sectors, to legal practices and government sectors, Suraj brings a practical, solutions-focused approach, combining his engineering and project management expertise with hands-on ISO consulting. He ensures that management systems are not only certification-ready but also deliver measurable improvements in compliance, operational efficiency, and organisational performance.

Career Background
Suraj is an experienced ISO Consultant with a strong foundation in Mechanical and Renewable Energy Engineering and a passion for project management.
While completing his Masters in Global Project Management, Suraj gained practical experience across a variety of roles that strengthened his project coordination, operational management, and stakeholder engagement skills. As a Project Coordinator at Western Sydney University, he managed project timelines, liaised with stakeholders, and ensured accurate data management. He also worked as a Project Administrator at HCA Allied Health, supporting compliance teams and coordinating project tasks to maintain effective system implementation.
Suraj has demonstrated strong leadership and operational expertise through his roles outside traditional consulting. As an Area Director for Toastmasters International, he guided multiple clubs to achieve their distinguished programs, chaired area councils, and organised speech contests. In the retail and service sector, he worked as a Senior Warehouse Team Member at JD Sports, managing warehouse operations and team scheduling, and as a Customer Service Representative at Heinemann Australia, providing high-quality customer service and handling inventory management.
By combining his engineering background, project management expertise, and operational experience, Suraj delivers practical, client-focused solutions in ISO management system implementation. He ensures that management systems not only meet ISO certification requirements but also drive measurable improvements in organisational performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
