Once successfully passing the exam, you can apply* for one of the credentials below, depending on your proven experience. You will receive the certification once you meet all the requirements related to the selected credential.

Educational Approach

  • Content Delivery: This training course includes multiple video sections. In addition to video content, you will have access to over 450 pages of course materials, which include detailed explanations, examples, best practices, exercises, and quizzes.
  • Course Duration: The course is self-paced, allowing you to complete it in your own time. With 24/7 access to the materials, you can revisit any section whenever needed. We recommend setting aside at least five days, or about 35 hours, to finish the course, complete the quizzes, and take the final exam.
  • Evaluation Process: The PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor exam covers seven competency areas and aligns with the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP)* requirements. The exam features 80 multiple-choice questions, and you must score 70% to pass. If you don’t pass on the first try, you can retake the exam within 12 months at no extra cost. Additional attempts after that will incur an additional fee.
  • Certificates: Upon successfully completing the exam, you will receive an Attestation of Course Completion. In addition, depending on your demonstrated experience, you can apply for one of four possible Certification credentials through this course, as shown under the Certification section.

This course is delivered via KATE, the PECB training app.
All you need in order to access this training course is:
